The first atrium I ever visited was in northern Indiana. (Fun fact: Anita Vincent was one of the catechist there!) After that, I took a risk and started Level I formation and subsequently undertook Level II and Level III formation training while completing my Master of Divinity. Since entering religious life the Lord has called me to serve children in atria in Missouri and New York. I presently serve in the Lord's vineyard as a missionary in Ireland.

I've been living as a catechist outside the atrium for more years than I've been in atrium. This conversation seeks to reflect on our experience of CGS formation and explore other ways of service we can offer (to God, to the Church, to the child) aside from being catechists in an atrium.
