I found the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd in 1988 through my daughter's Montessori School, and was introduced to Tina Lillig.  I participated in the first regional formation led by Tina and Carol Nyberg-Caraviotis in 1988-89, and continued my formation year by year through Level III, and then took formation leader training through Level III.  I worked with children in Roman Catholic, ecumenical, and Episcopalian atria for over 25 years, and led formation courses for many years. I was honored to visit Sofia Cavalletti and Gianna Gobbi in their Rome atrium several times.  For ten years I was an editor of the Journal of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. In 2001 I earned a master's degree in pastoral studies from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago.  Since 2008 I have studied Torah and Biblical Hebrew with Torah scholar Tamar Pelleg, and have participated in seminars taught by renowned Jewish Bible scholar Dr. Avivah Gottlieb Zornberg. My husband and I live in River Forest, IL. We have six adult children and two grandchildren.
